For 30 years, Ethic Etapes has been developing values which involve following sustainable development practices on a daily basis: éthic étapes s is recognised by many partners (institutions, tourism professionals, specialist press … ) for its sustainable development practices. Environmental management, the establishment of “Ethic Etapes” in their regions, the accessibility of facilities and the awareness of the “Ethic Etapes” staff and guests to the problems of sustainable development are some of the pillars of our strategy.

    Ethic Etapes advocates respect for the environment by introducing responsible day-to-day management for member establishments, and aims to establish environment management systems. The network helps Ethic Etapes work towards gaining the European ecolabel for tourist accommodation services.

    Ethic étapes centres are economic players who are committed to and firmly rooted in their local areas. They are open all year and play an active part in local life. Our members play a part in revitalising deserted rural areas and in developing tourist zones.
